    cameras.

Anyone know anything about cameras?  I want to buy a really good digital camera that takes very high-quality pictures.  I was looking at the DSLRs but they are way too expensive…$700 and up, pretty much.  I’m more looking for something around the $300 range, I suppose.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Sup, Goldfrapp?

This kind of reminds me of The Wickerman, the original, of course.

    moving.

I cannot wait to get out of here into an apartment off of campus.  It sucks that I have to wait until my Junior year, but I think I can survive the rest of this semester.  Finally, I won’t have to live in absolute filth because of careless roommates.  I won’t have to clean up toilet paper rolls from the sink and the bathroom, I won’t have to hide my shampoo, I won’t have to step on old popcorn, used tissues and candy ever time I step through the door.

    Ah :)

From “Pretty Lady”, an ongoing personal series by Meg Hunt exploring stories of women and fashion. Smart new portfolio powered by Cargo as well.

I love this piece.  Probably because I’m obsessed with peacocks… and most birds, in fact.  Beautiful.

    studying.

I’m going to be up most of the night studying for a terrible Psychology Research Methods test that I have tomorrow.  I’m in the Olin computer lab right now surrounded by heavily highlighted papers, study guides, and books.

I’ve been drinking a lot of English Breakfast tea lately, sweetened with some low-fat milk.  I’m hoping that the protein from the milk will keep me fuller and the caffeine from the black tea will give me some energy so I can function throughout the day.  I also don’t drink enough liquids as it is, and I know it’s very bad for me to be so dehydrated all of the time.  I think that having a drink with me at all times will keep me from seeking out other snacks that aren’t so conducive to my diet.  Right now, Splenda is my God.

I can do this, I can do this, I can do this.

    poetry.

I suck at it.  Wishing I could avoid workshop critiques right now.  Can’t disappear into the background when there are only 4 other people in the class.  Sigh.
